Mineral Rich Mines
Bhumi Ventures 4 high potential exploitation licences in DR Congo are located in the prominent and most successful Katanga Copper Belt (Lufilian Arc) and surrounded by lot of operating mines. The total area of the 4 licenses is 296 sq. km.
Kibolwe PE-740: This high-grade copper and cobalt deposit commenced operations in 2018 and has since witnessed significant growth. Currently producing at a rate of 2.4 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) through two open pits, the operation is actively scaling its infrastructure to further enhance ore production. As part of our digital transformation journey, we are implementing advanced initiatives across the mine and HMS plant operations, utilizing a central control room to enable real-time process and service monitoring. A benchmark of open-pit mining excellence, the Kibolwe operation stands out for its modern infrastructure, efficient operations, strong community engagement, commitment to environmental sustainability, high safety standards, technological innovation, and visionary leadership.
The mine features advanced mechanization, employing a shovel-dumper combination for efficient material handling. Most of the ore comprises free-dig material, while in areas with hard rock, drilling and blasting techniques are utilized. To establish the potential for further vertical and horizontal extensions of the ore bodies, a Phase-I exploration program is currently underway.
The ore is transported to the adjoining Heavy Media Separation (HMS) plant, where it undergoes crushing, Dense Media Separation (DMS), and spiral concentration processes. The resulting high-grade copper ore is sold in the local market. Tailings generated from the DMS and spiral operations are stored for future extraction through the upcoming VAT leaching and Solvent Extraction (SX) plants.

Expansion Plan for Kibolwe PE-740
SEMHKAT Project Development Summary: SEMHKAT has initiated an ambitious exploration and development program aimed at significantly expanding its current resource base and operational capacity.

Exploration Drilling Program
To support its resource expansion objectives, SEMHKAT has planned a total of 70,000 meters of exploration drilling, comprising both Diamond Drilling (DD) and Reverse Circulation (RC) Drilling. This program is designed to enhance the geological understanding and resource delineation between two existing open pits, which are currently separated by a 500-meter geological gap. Drilling and subsequent excavation activities have already commenced to potentially merge these pits into a single large-scale mega pit.

Plant Infrastructure Development
A Dense Media Separation (DMS) and Spiral Concentration Plant with a capacity of 6,000 tonnes per day (TPD) is scheduled for commissioning by September 2025. This facility will process both medium-grade (MG) and low-grade (LG) ores, optimizing recovery and throughput.

JORC-Compliant Resource Definition
The company is executing a JORC-compliant exploration program in collaboration with international consultants AB Global Mining. The 70,000-meter diamond drilling campaign is targeted to establish a Resource and Reserve (R&R) base supporting 1 million tonnes (Mt) of contained copper. To date, 7,500 meters have been completed.
Plans are underway to deploy additional rigs to achieve 30,000 meters of diamond drilling by 2026 and complete the remaining 40,000 meters by 2027.

Hydrometallurgical Plant Development
In line with downstream integration, SEMHKAT plans to establish a hydrometallurgical plant, consisting of leaching and Solvent Extraction-Electrowinning (SX-EW) technology. The plant will have an annual capacity of 20,000 tonnes of copper cathode.
Emerging Mines, Expanding Horizons
With Mwombe, Kamigoti, and Mifumbi, Bhumi Ventures is shaping the future of sustainable mineral extraction in the DRC’s richest geological corridor.
Mwombe - PE741
Mwombe (PE 741), owned by Century Resources SARL under Bhumi Ventures Group, lies near Kansansama and Mwombe village in Kambove Territory, Haut Katanga Province, DRC. Planned as an open-pit mine, it holds significant Nickel, Cobalt, and Copper confirmed by exploration. The deposit aligns with regional structures and is divided into five prospective zones. Zones 1 and 3 show proven occurrences, with Nickel found just 0.5m below surface. Mining plans prioritize Nickel, then Cobalt and Copper.
Kamigoti PE755
Kamigoti (PE 755) is owned by “Sun Mining SARL” under Bhumi Ventures Group of mines. It is located in Kamigoti under Haut Katanga Province of DRC. It is an Up-coming open pit mine having huge potential for production of Copper, Cobalt and Silver mineral identified by Exploration and regional structure.
Mifumbi - PE760
Mifumbi (PE760) is owned by “Golden Sands SARL” under joint ownership of Bhumi Ventures Group of mines & LRS Vision. It is located in Mifumbi village under Haut Katanga Province of DRC located 106km NW to Lubumbashi and 40km SW to Likasi town. It is an Up-coming open pit mine having huge potential for production of Copper mineral identified by Initial Exploration and regional structure in northwest and southern area.

Expanding Our Exploration Reach
Bhumi Ventures also has 12 high potential exploration licences in DR Congo located in the prominent and most successful Katanga Copper Belt (Lufilian Arc) and surrounded by a lot of operating mines. Our initial exploration discoveries and mining operation is giving us confidence for the brighter future. The total area of the 12 licenses is 761 sq. km.
